Apple Squires is the local Macintosh User Group.  They meet every third Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Agnes Elementary School in Springfield, Missouri, and they are always looking for new members and fresh faces.  They are a very nice group of people who provide troubleshooting tips, ideas for using your Mac, and they love to help people switch to the Mac or answer questions for those thinking of switching.  They also have specialists in many areas of Mac OS X, hardware and various softwares (Photoshop, InDesign, Mac Office, iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes, iWork, etc.).  Many of them have been using Macs since they were called Apples and probably longer than I’ve been alive.
