Database Systems is an Authorized Apple Specialist. We can repair Apple computers in and out of warranty; we are also authorized to service Apple iPads. We honor the AppleCare Extended Warranty if your machine has one. We are NOT authorized to repair or service iPods or iPhones. If your warranty covers an Apple accessory such as an Apple Magic Mouse or an Apple Wireless Keyboard, we can take care of the warranty replacement on such items.1
Out of warranty fees are as follows:
| Diagnostic Fee: $50 | This is the minimum charge for us to diagnose your machine. This fee is waived if you choose to have your machine repaired, at which time you pay for labor and parts. |
| Labor Fee: $85/hour | This fee covers the labor required to fix software or replace parts. The minimum labor charge is one hour. |
Other fees:
| Rush Fee: $40 | This fee is optional and guarantees that diagnostics on the machine will start within ONE business day (Monday-Friday). This does not guarantee that the machine will be fixed within that time. |
| On Site Fee: $95/hour | This fee is for on site service where a technician drives to your location to repair or diagnose a problem. This fee begins accruing when the technician leaves Database Systems and stops when the technician has fixed the problem or leaves the customer's residence or place of business.2 |
| Backup Fee: $50 | This fee is optional. If you wish to pay this fee, Database Systems will backup your hard drive. Any data backed up will only be available for up to two weeks after the machine is returned to you.3 |
Database Systems is not responsible for lost data. We recommend that you backup your important files.
ANY Service Repair not picked up within 60 days of "repair completion date" becomes the property of Database Systems, Inc.

1 - Software is not covered under the Apple Limited Warranty or the AppleCare Extended Warranty. Therefore, even if your machine is within its warranty, the diagnostic fee and/or the labor fee will apply.
2 - On site must be scheduled in advance. Immediate service may not be available. If a part is needed, a second on site must be scheduled or the machine returned to Database Systems for further diagnosis and service.
3 - Database Systems and our technicians are NOT responsible for lost hard drive data. We will attempt to guard your data, but we recommend that you back up your files on a regular basis. Any data we attempt to save for your will be kept on our system no longer than 10 working days. Database Systems will not share this data with anyone.
